Locate an article in the University of Phoenix Library that discusses an area of psychology you are interested in. (Sports Psychology or Counseling) Write a 1,050- to 1,400-word paper that includes the following: State your goals for why you are considering the psychology major; be clear about the pathway and career option(s) you are interested in. Summarize the article. You must use the UoP library for this assignment NOT random internet searches. How does the article related to your career choice? Explain how your career aligns with your personal and professional interests. Describe how you would develop your skills in this field based on the information in the article and your readings. For example, if you are interested in becoming a Master's level licensed counselor you'd find an article like "how to help adolescents with depression". Or, if you are interested in Sports Psychology you'd find an article like "how to motivate a player after an injury".

Start by indentifying the subfield you are interested in, then, find the academic journal that relates to your topic. For example, if you are interested in marriage counseling use "Journal of Couples Counseling". If you are interested in Military Psychology, then, search for an article within the "Journal of Military Psychology".
