- Demonstrate knowledge with a three (3) page typed double spaced written critique on the history, classification of, and the underground economy of one of the following illicit drugs and how it impacts society: Cocaine, Heroin, or Marijuana
a. Describe the historical orientation of the drug (30 pts.)
b. Describe in depth how the drug is classified in regard to the scheduling of drugs criteria (30 pts.)
c. Describe the underground economy of the drug in terms of crop cultivation, manufacturing, importation, wholesale distribution, and retail distribution. Be specific to the drug that is chosen for this writing objective assignment (30 pts).
d. Use appropriate references. There should be a minimum of three scholarly references (No Wikipedia). Please be sure to use in-text citations. In the reference list, do not simply use the url. Cite properly according to MLA guidelines; author, publication date, article title, page numbers etc. (10 pts).
