Question

Chapter 12 discusses the structure of our the court system in Texas. The Criminal Justice system does not always work the way it was intended. When the state of Texas wrongfully convicts a person, they are compensated $80,000 for each year they served in prison. Is this enough? What are your thoughts on the Justice system in general. Are these mistakes that happen to b expected or does the system need to be reformed? Please review the following link and read some of the stories of wrongfully convicted individuals. Note that many of these convictions were based on eye-witness testimony.
