About the Author

William Shakespeare was born on April 23, 1564, in Stratford-upon-Avon. At eighteen, he married Anne Hathaway, a woman seven or eight years his senior. He married Anne when he was 18 years old. He has introduced around 3000 words in English. He wrote 38 plays and 154 sonnets.

About the Novel

The story is about two lovers Romeo and Juliet. Their families are enemies, but this doesn’t affect their love for each other. Romeo fell in love with Juliet at first sight. Juliet’s father fixed her marriage when she was 12 years old. Juliet secretly married Romeo, and they meet in Juliet’s tomb. When Juliet comes to know that her marriage has been preponed, she tried to run off from the marriage. The novel has many romantic and traumatic incidents.
